D's for Today

Disconnects and fragments
Displacing time and emptiness
Dispelling sentiment and old men
Displeasing to the sound

Deserted and abound
Desperate under skin
Despair at will whenever
Despise your tentacles

Dominant feelings
Dominatrix falling happily
Domain yet undetermined
Dominion over nothing

Oh cheer up!

Story of Logan: 1

Oh the feel of thee moving
Hands and feet protruding
Warm heart beating
As I lie on my bed I feel you

My hand splays across
Thump thump movements
I giggle at your hiccups
Not yet birthed you make me smile

You feel heavy and in control
I have to run quick to pee
Sometimes I am in pain
But you, you’re safe and happy

I close my eyes and speak to you
Soon you will know my voice
We will be together still
Laughing and sharing in love
Oh....so sweet.....

Silly

Silly strings of chatter sing song
Word and thought strung together
Ebb and flow of crazy productions
Blur beneath my eyelids

My lips upturned red
Hands floating feeling the air
Music of joy dispatched
Humming a tune

Kiss me kiss me
Arms embracing and entangled
Tip toes dancing circles
Heart racing like drum drum drum

Fight back and don't give in
Broken things creep towards
Disjointing the sounds terrifying
A sad tune threatens

Hands in front of my imaginings
Straighten it out love
Talk talk talk doctor
Fix myself like strum strum strum

Funny little feelings
Sounds like no more crying
Return to the dispatched
Silly strings of chatter sing song

?

What do you have that I don't?

I cry and I laugh
My eyes are of colors in light
My skin thin with hardship
And don't forget wit
Pale and dark I come to thee
Love in and out and throughout within

What do you have that I don't?

My lips full with words
I think and feel the universe
I hold you to my self
My heart beating thick with blood
Moving to my own music
Sometimes still

What do you have that I don't?

I get lonely once in a while
Sometimes bleaker than bleak
Raining sadness and distrust
Your eyes say otherwise
Like I am made of stone
Hold my heart carefully

What do you have that I don't?

Sometimes light and forgiving
My smile a thousand times bright
Every thing that is me permeates life around
More beautiful than ever
Always trying to please
And often times I do

What do you have that I don't?

Nothing......

Playground

Bouncing red to the wall
Down an alley to the street
Swinging to touch the sky
Spinning circles, hang on tight

Landing on your bottom
At the bottom
Jumping over a rope
Springing to and fro on a duck

Throw a rock, jump right over
Chalk boxes on the sidewalk
Laughter from the monkeys
Hanging on the bars

Circle in the sand
Plunking a lucky taw
Hit a home run
Don't forget dinner

Smiles and Kisses

Smiles and kisses
Rainbows and balloons
No clowns, they scare me
Just like spiders do

Sunshine and blue skies
Ice cream and bicycles
Happiness like a cyclone
Whizzing around us

Laughter and skipping
Peanut butter and bananas
Spinach in a can, disgusting
Pink cotton candy, sticky good

Love notes and check boxes
Poetry and romantic ballads
Birds singing tunes
Whizzing around us

Spikes

The age of repressing over
No more depressing happiness
Time to slide over-the-hill
Landing on my feet on the other side

My youthful look still with me
To indicate my attitude of being beautiful yet
There's a lot of life left in me
A knowing grin on my face

The sun is my friend along with blue skies
Soaking into my disposition
Giving it life and breathing love
I see hope and transformation in my hands

The hill slopes steeply downward
But I have spikes on my shoes
Laughing all the way slowly down
PT taking my hand - we smile in the sun
