Oh the feel of thee moving
Hands and feet protruding
Warm heart beating
As I lie on my bed I feel you

My hand splays across
Thump thump movements
I giggle at your hiccups
Not yet birthed you make me smile

You feel heavy and in control
I have to run quick to pee
Sometimes I am in pain
But you, you’re safe and happy

I close my eyes and speak to you
